We will be hosting our Black History Month Celebration on Thursday, February 17 starting third period. Students and staff have a day of poetry, singing and dancing planned as part of the celebration. Student art projects will also be on display! If anyone is interested in preparing a dish or donating supplies, there will be a signup sheet posted in the main office.
Ms. Jardine and her students made whipped shea butter together for Valentine's Day. Check it out!

Valentine Candy Grams will be on sale this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! If you would like to participate, stop by the cafeteria during periods 5 and 6. All proceeds will help to raise money for various senior events. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Virgadamo.

Our 3-D Architecture Letter Project has been coming along. They are still a work in progress but the kids are CRUSHING it! They are looking AMAZING. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Here are some that are now on display at school.
Kaplan Academy will be remote Thursday January 6, 2022. Students will log into their classes as their scheduled times.

Kaplan is hosting a Fundraiser Bake Sale for our Seniors on Wednesday, 12/15 between periods 5 and 6 during the school day. Baked good donations are much appreciated and all items need to be individually wrapped for sale. All proceeds benefit the Senior class events for the year!

The elementary students enjoyed the Kiwi Kit science projects provided by Stand with GNC. They learned more about tension, friction, and joints!
Students enjoyed a trip to Orange County Community College in early November. They received a tour of the campus and were informed about courses of study, financial aid and other great things that OCCC has to offer. Here are some pictures from the field trip!

The Senior Class spent a wonderful afternoon attending the Medieval Times Lunch and Tournament. The show featured horses, falcons, a competition, and feast. The students enjoyed spending the day with peers in a fun environment; outside of the classroom. We look forward to celebrating our Seniors with even more events in the Spring!
