Happy Thanksgiving!
Today we had our Annual Kaplan Thanksgiving Feast. The school staff made and contributed food towards the potluck lunch. Everyone ate the delicious food together and then some students got up to share what they were thankful for. A wonderful time was had by all!

Did you know you can use the sun to cook? Students created solar ovens during their Science activity this week in order to heat up some s'mores! They learned how to utilize the sun as a heat source and enjoyed a delicious snack at the same time!
It was time to do some baking this week during the summer program activities. Students made waffles with ice cream! They were able to customize their dishes the way they liked adding sprinkles, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and even strawberries!
