Students in Toxicology Lab are learning lab safety, testing procedures, and how chemicals affect the body through hands- on scientific investigations.

Students had the opportunity to visit the Department of Laboratories and Research to learn about the important work being done behind the scenes in public health, environmental testing, and forensic science. During the visit, students explored how scientific research and laboratory testing help protect communities and support criminal investigations. It was a valuable hands-on learning experience that connected science, technology, and real-world careers.
