Greenburgh-North Castle Union Free School District students recently returned from an enriching educational trip to Spain that combined cultural exploration with hands-on learning experiences. During their visit, students explored several historic cities including Madrid, Alcalá de Henares, Toledo, Ávila, and Segovia.
Throughout the trip, students participated in a variety of activities that highlighted Spain’s history, architecture, and culture. The group toured historic streets and landmarks, took part in a cooking class, visited scenic viewpoints, and explored notable sites such as the ancient city walls of Ávila and the Roman aqueduct in Segovia. Students also had the opportunity to experience authentic Spanish cuisine and local traditions.
The trip provided students with a meaningful opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences while gaining a deeper appreciation for Spain’s rich cultural heritage. The district is proud to support educational travel experiences that broaden students’ global perspectives and create lasting memories.
